Inside the Latest Issue of Iowa Law Magazine

The University of Iowa College of Law has released the latest issue of its magazine, Iowa Law. Among other features is a tribute to Kevin Washburn, the school’s dean for the past six years who stepped down as of January 1, 2025. 

Dean Washburn is a citizen of the Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma and is recognized as the first enrolled tribal member of any tribe to become a law school dean. His leadership as well as his scholarship and teaching have been greatly appreciated.
